At MR Planners Kitchen & Bath, we believe a home is more than just a place — it’s where family gathers, memories are made, and stories unfold. That’s why since 1975, we’ve been committed to helping homeowners create spaces that reflect both beauty and purpose.
What began with founder Roger Eisenmann has grown into a multi-generational family business led today by his son, John Eisenmann, along with his own family working right alongside him. Together, over the past 50 years we’ve completed over 5000 major renovations and custom projects — each one rooted in careful craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and genuine care for the families we serve. Our our designers and installers work together to problem solve and get you a timely and professional installation.
Rooted in Decatur’s History
Our building in downtown Decatur has stories of its own — once a bowling alley, dance hall, shooting range, flower shop, and even a horse stable with an underground route to the river that may have been used on the underground railroad. Today, it’s home to our showroom and office, where we welcome customers with the same small-town hospitality that’s been part of our legacy for nearly 50 years.

MISSION STATEMENT
MR Planners specialty since 1975 is the value of design of the kitchen, bath or window remodel. We acknowledge that our customers want a good value and quality construction that add value to the home. We strive to keep good relations with God first, and with customers, our employees, our families and the community.
JOHN EISENMANN – OWNER
John is the owner and president of MR Planners. He has been working here of all phases since 1977. He designs and plans kitchens and remodeling projects. He coordinates all jobs and will help make sure your projects run smoothly. He is a seasoned kitchen designer and even knows how to cook!
TRUDY EISENMANN
Trudy is the vice president. She likes to help customers with the interior decorating color making decisions. Attending IPFW for interior design and marketing, she also designs our marketing system, and purchases stock plumbing and carpentry supplies, as well as the appliance purchasing and quoting.
ANDREW EISENMANN
Andrew gives kitchen designs and helps give quotes for kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and counter tops and appliances. He is a presenter for Life Leadership financial and personal develop coach.
